Snodrift Stomp - Winter Domination !
Sit in the car with Patrick Richard and watch him "cruise" as he completes yet another mistake-free stage to beat the likes of Patrana, Block, Iorio, Burke, ACP (Picard) and others on his way to the Rally America Championship. He wins this single stage by close to a minute over the nearest competitor, and the rally with over a seven minute margin !
The fact is, Richard has won every "pure" snow and ice rally he has entered in North America since early 2002. Note: this video 10 minutes long, it is the entire stage. A short "highlight" version may be posted in the future. It gets very "interesting" at approx 3/4 of the way through.

Perce Neige - Blind Man
Watch an entire stage in-car as Richard and co-driver Christian Edstrom drive blind on ice, with NO STUDS, and NO ORGANIZER NOTES, and NO PACE NOTES, at the Rallye Perce Neige. The ONLY instructions provided to the drivers is a road book, which shows "tulips", or just major intersections and corners (you can clearly see it and hear it in the video - and listen as Pat makes corrections to the notes in real time). Richard & Edstrom won this event, beating the likes of the "Ice Man" Sprongl, Sylvain Erickson and ACP (yet again), to put Pat on his way to win yet another Canadian Championship.

Amazingly, in his first ever full event, Patrick was the star of the field. Remember, this was his FIRST TIME in a front wheel drive car. FIRST TIME in a right hand drive car, and he was leading the regulars, in their "home" event. Nothing short of spectacular.
